Workshops

Four Saturdays in a row from noon to 5.  Each semester will have a different focus, beginning with fundamentals and moving through to painting from life.  A full filling journey with art.  Limit of 10 students.  $220 for each 4 week semester. $63 for drop in.

The next series of classes begins Oct 6, 2012.  It is a popular class on philosphy, elements, approaches, drawing, and color.  Philosophy covers how to "see" the subject and then interpret that vision into a drawing or painting.  Elements are the visual tools used to understand what you are seeing.  Approaches are the theme or unity.  You can't even do abstract art without drawing skills so we will cover angles, porportions, and plum lines.  Then there is the ever-exciting frosting color.  Gotta have those fundamentals.  Live models in an environment will be the subject.
