It is a popular class on philosphy, elements, approaches, drawing, and color. Philosophy covers how to "see" the subject and then interpret that vision into a drawing or painting. Elements are the visual tools used to understand what you are seeing. Approaches are the theme or unity. You can't even do abstract art without drawing skills so we will cover angles, porportions, and plum lines. Then there is the ever-exciting frosting of color. In this class you learn not to isolate your subject from it's environment. Live models and Still Lifes. Oil, Pastel, or Drawing.
